About The Position

The Receiving Department provides service and support to Production, Engineering, Sales and Marketing. The Stockroom Clerk is responsible for all Job Order kits to the Production Floor for assembly of products, maintaining stock levels on the Production Floor racks and cells, as well as the stockroom warehouse and cycle counting material.

Requirements

  • Good eyesight, reading skills, attention to detail, reliability, and flexibility.
  • Familiarity with inventory control techniques and shipping methods.
  • Ability to plan work and handle and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Basic computer literacy.
  • Ability to use basic measuring equipment including calipers.
  • Ability to interpret and utilize engineering drawings and specifications.
  • High School or GED.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with ERP systems is helpful.
  • Familiarity with basic measuring equipment including calipers.

Responsibilities

  • Pulling material from the stockroom shelves in a FIFO manner, reading a BOM (Build of Material), organizing that material into a Kit, verifying counts and labeling the Kit and transacting those parts in Syteline.
  • Stocking and restocking the Production Floor Benches and Racks twice a day to ensure material is available to all floor personnel and that material racks are neatly displayed and organized.
  • Counting parts and material using hand counting and/or weighing with a scale to maintain consistent stock levels in the Stockroom, on the Production Floor, and in the Shipping & Receiving Departments.
  • Receiving products into the finished goods stock room and inventory system; picking required items per order, checking orders for accuracy, packing orders, and creating labels.
  • Assisting in the assembly of various products assembled in shipping such as starter kits, development kits etc.
  • Removing trash and cardboard daily to maintain an organized, safe stockroom.
