About The Position

Reporting to the Stockroom/MRO Supervisor, the Stockroom Attendant supports stockroom and production control functions and provides customer support to Linamar employees and suppliers. The role involves receiving and storing deliveries, verifying shipments, maintaining inventory records and stockroom cleanliness, and using mobile equipment to move and stage items.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of stockroom experience.
• Ability to complete required paperwork.
• Problem-solving abilities.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to understand the use of manufacturing inventory items.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to obtain mobile equipment certification.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to use a computer in a Windows environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive deliveries and put stockroom items away in the proper location.
• Verify packing slips against the amount shipped.
• Conduct cycle counting and stockroom transactions using the Plex system, and check email daily.
• Maintain shipping dock and area cleanliness.
• Drive mobile equipment to stage items and put them away.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
