This position leads and develops teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates. It involves touring stores, providing feedback, and communicating and collaborating with all levels of associates regarding store operations, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction. The role introduces and leads company change efforts, providing clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions and communicate business objectives to teams effectively. The Stocking Coach models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards, manages and supports customer service initiatives, ensures customer needs are resolved, and develops action plans to correct deficiencies. This role drives the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing Profit Loss statements, managing and assisting in budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses. It also monitors and ensures effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes, developing and implementing action plans to mitigate shrink and achieve sales and profit goals. The position provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, setting clear expectations, providing recognition, communicating expectations consistently, ensuring a belonging mindset, and recruiting and developing qualified associates. The role coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, supporting plans and initiatives, identifying and communicating goals, building accountability, and identifying and addressing improvement opportunities. It ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and supports the company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity. The annual salary range for this position is $65,000.00 - $80,000.00, with additional compensation including annual or quarterly performance bonuses, and potentially Regional Pay Zone (RPZ), Complex Structure, and State Pay Differential.
