About The Position

This role is responsible for maintaining a high standard of store cleanliness and presentation, ensuring a positive customer experience. The associate will perform cleaning duties, assist with stocking and truck unloading, and support various store operations. The position requires a commitment to customer service, adherence to company policies, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Other duties may include assisting with checkouts, promoting loyalty programs, and supporting omnichannel processes.

Requirements

Must be at least sixteen (16) years or older.
Ability to remain standing for long periods of time.
Ability to move throughout the store.
Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching and stretching.
Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.
Use of standard commercial cleaners and chemicals from cleaning supplies.
Applicants in the U.S. must satisfy federal, state, and local legal requirements of the job.

Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain store cleanliness and recovery standards.
Deliver friendly customer service and assist customers.
Collect and dispose of trash.
Dust and damp mop floors.
Move equipment and products for cleaning and proper placement.
Clean assigned areas using provided materials and equipment.
Mix cleaning solutions as needed.
Deep clean key areas such as bathrooms, breakrooms, and entryways.
Keep cleaning equipment neat and orderly and notify supervisor of supply needs.
Take initiative to identify and complete cleaning tasks.
Complete all tasks assigned by supervisor.
Perform tasks in accordance with federal, state, and county guidelines.
Maintain positive and respectful interactions with team members and customers.
Project a positive image and serve as a role model.
Provide a fast and friendly check out experience and execute cash handling.
Engage customers on benefits of Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship from Store (SFS).
Participate in truck un-load, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
Support shrink and safety programs.
Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs for compliance.
Execute Company policies and standards.
