About The Position
Our YELM, WA store is seeking a Part Time Stocker Merchandiser. The Stocker Merchandiser is responsible for maintaining shelf stock and department level merchandising. This role involves placing merchandise on the sales floor, setting up displays, cultivating a well-merchandised store, and stocking merchandise as directed by store management. The position also includes product rotation based on the store's schedule and maintaining a safe and clean working/shopping environment.
Requirements
- 1 -- 3 months of related experience and/or training
- Attends every scheduled shift
- Exceptional analytical, judgment, decision-making and communications skills
- Superior coaching, leadership and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build understanding and consensus
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization
- Comprehensive understanding of all aspects of a Stocker Merchandiser
- Self-motivated; resourceful, creative; high integrity; problem solver; looks to resolve issues; positive can-do approach; and ability to build effective working relationships
- Regularly required to stand; walk and reach with hands and arms
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision
Nice To Haves
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Placing merchandise on the sales floor and set up displays
- Cultivates a well-merchandised/displayed store
- Stocks store with merchandise as directed by store management
- Rotates product on display based on the store's rotation schedule, including holiday merchandise
- Maintains a safe working/shopping environment for customers and employees
