About The Position

Prepare track for assembly. Rivet/Cut/Punch/Drill/Grind track for assembly according to production schedule.

Requirements

• Must be able to read a tape measure accurately
• Ability to work independently and with a team
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs without assistance and more than 50 lbs using a team-lift
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Good hand-eye coordination
• Skill in using power and/or hand tools
• Ability to read and interpret work orders
• Close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth vision and the ability to adjust focus

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Production experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Obtain work orders and production schedule and choose raw materials accordingly
• Perform quality assurance inspection to assure raw materials meet established standards
• Drill holes according to work order using precise measurements
• Operate Miter Saw, Riveter, Punch press, Shear press
• Rivet track details into assemblies per engineering drawings
• Inspect track for accuracy
• Apply product and identification labels
