About The Position

Venturi Supply is seeking a Stock Lister to join their expanding team. This role is responsible for inputting data from customer stock lists into a stock listing program, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail. The position generates totals for material and labor, formats quotes for the Sales Team, and produces fabrication sheets, packing lists, and labels for the shop. The Stock Lister will manage all fabrication stock lists from the quoting stage through to the fabrication shop. Requirements

  • GED or High School Diploma preferred.
  • 1 or more years of stock listing or related experience in the same or similar industry preferred.
  • Computer literate; Proficient with MS Office 365.
  • Must understand basic math, primarily reading measurements in feet and inches.
  • Ability to effectively communicate [written and verbal].
  • Thrives in a collaborative team environment.
  • A detail-oriented work style, comfortable with multiple priorities being juggled while maintaining a consistent work approach.
  • Ability to sit at a computer desk for a full shift.
  • Ability to pass a background check, MVR check, and drug test.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Eclipse, HydraLIST, Fire Protection Stock listing, or pipe layout on site is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Input data from customer stock lists into the stock listing program.
  • Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in data entry.
  • Generate totals for material and labor.
  • Format quotes for the Sales Team.
  • Produce fabrication sheets, packing lists, and labels for the shop.
  • Manage all fabrication stock lists from quote to fabrication shop.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ensure quotes and fabrication are correct according to customer specifications.
  • Communicate verbally and in writing with other employees and customers.
  • Multi-task and prioritize assigned tasks.
  • Check all documents and files for accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Turn around quotes to the sales team and get fabrication paperwork to the fabrication manager in a timely manner.
  • Become familiar with fabrication material to identify errors before they go to the shop.
  • Manage and maintain a quote log.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned or required.
