About The Position

This role is for a Stock Control Associate in the Consolidation department, working the 12P-9P shift. The position involves ensuring Mouser meets or exceeds customer expectations for quality and accuracy, adhering strictly to posted procedures, and maintaining acceptable attendance. The associate will demonstrate a positive, team-oriented demeanor, cross-train in other areas as required, and ensure a safe working environment by following safety and housekeeping standards. Effective interaction with others, flexibility, a sense of urgency, and a quality-focused approach are essential. The role also includes maintaining a professional work area, ESD control, attending team talks, representing the company professionally, providing excellent customer service, and supporting total quality processes and continuous improvements. The key accountabilities include reviewing labels and putting items into corresponding locations, scanning barcodes, ensuring items are placed in carts, boxes, or totes, moving orders to shipping areas via conveyor or cart, and checking the area for loose parts, torn bags, and conveyor jams. This position has two levels, with Level 1 being entry-level.

Requirements

Able to use a computer, and handheld computer/iPad (preferred).
Able to count and match accurately and perform simple math.
Able to read and understand instructions in English.
Strong quality and productivity orientation.
Able to maneuver in aisles 36" wide, stand, walk, bend, reach, twist, grasp, push and pull for 10- 12 hours, and reach, lift and carry products weighing up to 40 pounds from ground level and up to 2' (using stairs and ladders).
Regular attendance at work is an essential function of the job.
Ability to work overtime and weekends.
High school diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

May be trained to operate a powered industrial truck (such as wave, forklift and/or pallet jack) (preferred).
Prior warehouse experience preferred

Responsibilities

Ensures Mouser meets or exceeds customer’s expectations by meeting and exceeding established quality/accuracy.
Strictly adheres to all posted procedures.
Maintains acceptable attendance based on Mouser Absence Policy guidelines, which are measured against the number of unscheduled missed hours. Must be at work on time. Regular attendance at work is an essential function of the job.
Demonstrates a positive “team” oriented demeanor and approach toward work assignments. Contributes to ongoing success of the entire warehouse team by willingly accepting and embracing “other duties as required” along with willingness to help the department as a whole.
Actively cross-trains in other areas, as required, outside of a primary job function.
Ensures a safe working environment for self and others by adhering to established safety expectations and by following established housekeeping requirements. Notifies management of any observed safety hazards.
