About The Position

This role is responsible for ensuring Mouser meets or exceeds customer expectations through high quality and accuracy. The associate will strictly adhere to all posted procedures, maintain acceptable attendance, and demonstrate a positive, team-oriented demeanor. Key responsibilities include reviewing labels, putting items into corresponding locations, scanning barcodes, ensuring items are placed into carts, boxes, or totes, and moving orders to shipping areas. The associate will also check the area for loose parts, torn bags, and conveyor jams, and maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety expectations and housekeeping requirements. They will interact effectively with others, cross-train in other areas, and represent the company professionally. This position supports the company's total quality process and continuous improvements. For the Stock Control Associate – Consolidation position, there are 2 levels. Level 1 is considered entry level.

Requirements

Able to use a computer, and handheld computer/iPad (preferred).
Able to count and match accurately and perform simple math.
Able to read and understand instructions in English.
Strong quality and productivity orientation.
Able to maneuver in aisles 36" wide, stand, walk, bend, reach, twist, grasp, push and pull for 10- 12 hours, and reach, lift and carry products weighing up to 40 pounds from ground level and up to 2' (using stairs and ladders).
Regular attendance at work is an essential function of the job.
Ability to work overtime and weekends.
High school diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

Handheld computer/iPad experience preferred.
May be trained to operate a powered industrial truck (such as wave, forklift and/or pallet jack) (preferred).
Prior warehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Reviews labels and puts items into corresponding locations.
