About The Position

This role ensures Mouser meets or exceeds customer expectations by maintaining high quality and accuracy standards. The associate will strictly adhere to all posted procedures and maintain acceptable attendance as per Mouser's Absence Policy. A positive, team-oriented demeanor is essential, contributing to the success of the warehouse team by accepting additional duties and supporting the department. Cross-training in other areas is expected. The associate must ensure a safe working environment by following safety expectations and housekeeping requirements, and reporting any observed hazards. Effective interaction with individuals and groups inside and outside the organization is key. Other important aspects include working effectively with co-workers, ability to work overtime, a sense of urgency, ability to work unsupervised, flexibility, and a quality-focused approach. The associate will follow appropriate procedures, notify management of any violations, and maintain a professional, neat, and orderly work area, including product preservation and ESD control as applicable. Attendance at team talks and representing the company professionally are also required, along with providing customer service excellence and supporting the company's total quality process. Key job accountabilities include reviewing labels and placing items into corresponding locations, scanning barcodes and placing items into specified locations, ensuring all items are on carts, boxes, or totes, moving orders via conveyor or cart to shipping areas, and checking the area for loose parts, torn bags, and conveyor jams.

Requirements

Able to use a computer, and handheld computer/iPad (preferred).
Able to count and match accurately and perform simple math.
Able to read and understand instructions in English.
Strong quality and productivity orientation.
Able to maneuver in aisles 36" wide, stand, walk, bend, reach, twist, grasp, push and pull for 10- 12 hours, and reach, lift and carry products weighing up to 40 pounds from ground level and up to 2' (using stairs and ladders).
Regular attendance at work is an essential function of the job.
Ability to work overtime and weekends.
High school diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

Handheld computer/iPad experience
May be trained to operate a powered industrial truck (such as wave, forklift and/or pallet jack) (preferred).
Prior warehouse experience preferred

Responsibilities

Reviews labels and puts items into corresponding locations.
Scans barcodes and places items into specified locations.
