About The Position

This role ensures Mouser meets or exceeds customer expectations by achieving established quality and accuracy standards. The Stock Control Associate strictly adheres to all posted procedures, maintains acceptable attendance, and demonstrates a positive, team-oriented demeanor. They contribute to the warehouse team's success by accepting "other duties as required" and assisting the department as a whole. Active cross-training in other areas outside of the primary job function is expected. The associate ensures a safe working environment by adhering to safety expectations and housekeeping requirements, and by notifying management of any observed safety hazards. Effective interaction with individuals and groups inside and outside the organization is crucial. Other key attributes include effectiveness in working with co-workers, ability to work overtime, a sense of urgency, ability to work unsupervised, flexibility, and an overall quality-focused demeanor. The role involves following appropriate procedures, notifying management of violations, maintaining a professional, neat, and orderly work area, and maintaining ESD Control as applicable. Regular attendance at team talks and representing the company professionally are also expected, along with providing customer service excellence and supporting the company's total quality process.

Requirements

  • Able to use a computer, and handheld computer/iPad (preferred)
  • Able to count and match accurately and perform simple math
  • Able to read and understand instructions in English
  • Strong quality and productivity orientation
  • Able to maneuver in aisles 36" wide, stand, walk, bend, reach, twist, grasp, push and pull for 10- 12 hours, and reach, lift and carry products weighing up to 40 pounds from ground level and up to 2' (using stairs and ladders)
  • May be trained to operate a powered industrial truck (such as wave, forklift and/or pallet jack) (preferred)
  • Regular attendance at work is an essential function of the job
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends
  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Prior warehouse experience preferred

  • Pulls parts from bin box or shelving
  • Verifies part numbers, quantity, hardware, date and lot codes
  • Enters required information in handheld computer/iPad
