Stock Control Associate - Order Pulling-Early shift
About The Position
This role is responsible for ensuring Mouser meets or exceeds customer expectations by meeting and exceeding established quality and accuracy standards. The Stock Control Associate will strictly adhere to all posted procedures, maintain acceptable attendance, and demonstrate a positive, team-oriented demeanor. This position involves actively cross-training in other areas as required, ensuring a safe working environment, and interacting effectively with individuals and groups inside and outside the organization. The role also includes supporting the company's total quality process and continuous improvements.
Requirements
- Able to use a computer
- Able to count and match accurately and perform simple math
- Able to read and understand instructions in English
- Strong quality and productivity orientation
- Able to maneuver in aisles 36" wide, stand, walk, bend, reach, twist, grasp, push and pull for 10- 12 hours, and reach, lift and carry products weighing up to 40 pounds from ground level and up to 2' (using stairs and ladders)
- Regular attendance at work is an essential function of the job
- High school diploma or equivalent
Nice To Haves
- Able to use a handheld computer/iPad
- May be trained to operate a powered industrial truck (such as wave, forklift and/or pallet jack)
- Prior warehouse experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Pulls parts from bin box or shelving
- Verifies part numbers, quantity, hardware, date and lot codes
- Enters required information in handheld computer/iPad
- Repackages product, as requested
- Reports issues professionally
- Meets customer requirements
- Applies and scans barcodes
- Ensures Mouser meets or exceeds customer’s expectations by meeting and exceeding established quality/accuracy
- Strictly adheres to all posted procedures
- Maintains acceptable attendance based on Mouser Absence Policy guidelines, which are measured against the number of unscheduled missed hours. Must be at work on time. Regular attendance at work is an essential function of the job
- Demonstrates a positive “team” oriented demeanor and approach toward work assignments. Contributes to ongoing success of the entire warehouse team by willingly accepting and embracing “other duties as required” along with willingness to help the department as a whole
- Actively cross-trains in other areas, as required, outside of a primary job function
- Ensures a safe working environment for self and others by adhering to established safety expectations and by following established housekeeping requirements. Notifies management of any observed safety hazards
- Interacts effectively with individuals and groups inside and outside the organization
- Other measurements of demeanor/teamwork include, but are not limited to, effectiveness in working with co-workers, ability to work overtime, sense of urgency within the department, ability to work unsupervised, flexibility, and an overall quality focused demeanor toward work and Mouser
- Follows appropriate procedures for area
- Notifies management of any procedure violations
- Maintains a professional, neat and orderly work area, including product of preservation
- Maintains ESD Control for area, as applicable
