About The Position

The Stock Clerk position at IGA Rockport is a part-time role responsible for stocking and maintaining grocery merchandise and supplies. This includes receiving and unloading truck deliveries, rotating stock to ensure freshness, and performing basic housekeeping duties. The role requires operating equipment safely and efficiently, with the ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds. Requirements

Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Standing and/or walking at a rapid pace for extended periods of time to perform job functions.

Possess full range of motion on shoulders, arms, hands, legs and feet.

Responsibilities

Stocks and straightens merchandise and supplies.
Rotates merchandise as necessary according to product expiration dates.
Receives and unloads truck deliveries using available equipment and according to established guidelines.
Performs basic housekeeping duties using available equipment.
Operates all required tools and equipment in a safe manner.
Maintains a clean and neat work area.
Unloads groceries from customers shopping cart.
Carries or carts groceries to customer’s car.
Properly bags or packages customers purchases using correct size and quantity of bags.
Performs all essential job functions at an acceptable level of speed and accuracy.
Performs all essential job functions with limited supervision.
