About The Position
The Beach Shop Stock Clerk is responsible for receiving, storage, and distribution of retail products. Additionally, the Stock Clerk will maintain the merchandise by size on the selling floor.
Requirements
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Able to complete tasks with little to no supervision
- Written and oral comprehension skills
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to function under time constraints, within established deadlines
- High School Diploma or GED required
- A minimum of 6 months experience in stocking, shipping; or an equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field.
Responsibilities
- Maintain sales floor presentation to trained standards
- Receive, count, and verify incoming orders of purchased items
- Ticket stock items with labeling equipment
- Pack and unpack items for storage in stockroom
- Process shipping requests, requisitions, and/or purchase orders
- Distribute products or retail items to appropriate shelves or storage areas
- Assist Beach Shop Manager with accomplishing large tasks as needed
- Comply with Club’s safety procedures when moving heavy objects
- Keep stockroom neat and orderly
- Assist with gift wrapping as needed
- Move merchandise to and from storage unit
