About The Position

This is a Service Contract Act (SCA) position, not a Government position. The Stock Clerk/Cashier is responsible for ensuring consistent, efficient, and pleasant customer experiences. This role involves receiving, unloading, and stocking merchandise, rotating products for freshness, and maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of the store. Additionally, the position may include basic cashier duties and requires the ability to operate power equipment for stocking and moving merchandise. Other related duties as required.

Requirements

• Exceptional customer service
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
• Must be able to traverse and access all areas of the supermarket
• Two (2) years Stock Clerk/Cashier experience, preferably in a dining facility
• High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Ensures consistent, efficient, pleasant customer experiences
• Responsible for receiving, unloading, and stocking merchandise
• Rotating products for freshness
• Keeping the store clean and tidy
• May handle basic cashier duties
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and attractiveness of the store backroom and aisles
• Assist with inventory as needed
• May operate power equipment for stocking and moving merchandise
• Performs other related duties as required
