About The Position

Parts Authority is a national distributor of automotive replacement parts, professional tools and equipment, and transmission systems, with more than 300 locations across 28 states. The Stock Associate stocks items on shelves and helps maintain a neat, orderly store and warehouse. The role includes receiving and locating merchandise, checking deliveries, addressing inventory-count errors, and assisting with parts picking during busy periods. The associate also works with the stock manager to address order and stocking problems, cleans warehouse areas, and completes other assigned duties. Responsibilities

Receive merchandise from vendors and other stores and place it in the proper locations on the shelves.
Check off merchandise as received.
Correct mistakes found on the inventory count sheet.
Assist in pulling parts during busy times.
Clean up inside and outside the warehouse.
Work with the stock manager to address problems with orders.
Resolve problems with how the warehouse is stocked.
Complete miscellaneous projects and other related duties as assigned.
Maintain and promote workplace safety.
Secure and transfer cash or other assets.
