About The Position

NetCost Market is seeking a Stock Associate to join its Stock Team. The role supports store operations by maintaining and organizing inventory, checking product quality, building displays, and assisting customers in a friendly, professional manner. The Stock Associate helps provide a positive shopping experience while following NetCost Market’s customer service and food safety standards. The position works across grocery, dairy, and frozen departments and is scheduled five days per week.

Requirements

Must be 18 years or older.
Ability to read, write, and perform simple math problems.
Ability to interpret, understand, and follow instructions and solve problems.
Ability to work well with others as a team member.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Proactively assist customers in accordance with Customer Service Standards, including helping customers while setting up displays or working in the front of the store.
Perform annual full-scale inventory assessments to identify missing inventory and items to be ordered.
Use rolling ladders to retrieve items from hard-to-reach stockroom shelves.
Accurately maintain the company database for stock and inventory items.
Build displays for special merchandise.
Organize and sort items on shelving, in bins, and on displays according to company standards.
Monitor and report missing or lost inventory to management.
Verify incoming shipments against invoices and orders, and ensure inventory is in excellent condition.
Keep the work area clean and maintain food safety standards.
Follow instructions from managerial staff.
Serve customers quickly, efficiently, and pleasantly; respond resourcefully to requests and concerns.
Maintain product quality by checking products and the condition of food in display cases.
Perform other duties as assigned.
