About The Position

The Stock Associate represents Tommy Bahama and its island-inspired lifestyle while supporting store operations and guest service. The role helps create a welcoming shopping environment, assists guests in locating merchandise, shares product knowledge and recommendations, and supports store goals and marketing initiatives. The associate also participates in store meetings and performs other duties needed to support the business. Work hours may vary and can include nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of guest and sales experience.
• A get-things-done mindset.
• Ability to collaborate, identify opportunities, and take initiative.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to work varied hours and days, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to approximately 50 pounds frequently.
• Frequent bending, stooping, and kneeling.
• Occasional ladder climbing.
• Ability to stand routinely for the duration of a shift, up to 8 hours.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and help them locate or obtain merchandise based on their needs and preferences.
• Learn, reference, and share current product knowledge, offering prompt recommendations and professional service, including fit and fashion advice and suggestions for add-on purchases.
• Communicate the brand direction and inform guests about current marketing programs and upcoming events.
• Participate in store-related meetings and work toward sales and service performance goals set by store management.
• Perform other duties as required to support the business.
