The Stock Associate role involves receiving shipments, accurately maintaining inventory records, and managing stockroom and off-site locations. This position assists the sales team by replenishing the sales floor after shipments or during recovery periods. The associate is expected to exemplify high customer service standards, scan shipments, ticket and stock merchandise, provide feedback on inventory levels and damages, and organize the stockroom. Adjustments to stocking procedures are necessary to ensure clear aisles and exits. Merchandise must be safely stored, properly ticketed, packaged, logged, and easily locatable for replenishment. The role also includes packing and logging merchandise for customer deliveries, transporting merchandise to and from remote stockroom locations, and maintaining accurate inventory records. Maintaining a clean and organized stockroom is essential. The associate may also assist on the sales floor during peak times and complete assigned daily tasks, such as store maintenance, lighting, and cleaning, while complying with all company policies and procedures and ensuring stockroom procedures minimize company loss.
