About The Position

Parts Authority is a national distributor of automotive replacement parts, professional tools and equipment, and transmission systems. The Stock Associate stocks items on store shelves and helps maintain a neat, orderly store and warehouse. This role receives and checks merchandise, keeps inventory and stocking records accurate, assists with pulling parts during busy periods, and works with the stock manager to resolve order and stocking problems. Responsibilities

Receive merchandise from vendors and other stores and place it in the proper location on shelves.
Check off merchandise as received.
Correct mistakes found on the inventory count sheet.
Assist in pulling parts during busy periods.
Clean inside and outside the warehouse.
Work with the stock manager to address problems with orders.
Resolve problems with how the warehouse is stocked.
Complete miscellaneous projects.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Maintain and promote workplace safety.
Secure and transfer cash or other assets.
