About The Position

Looking for a hands-on, fast-paced role with a great team? Join Gertens as a Stock Associate and help keep our operations running smoothly during our busy season! This is an active role that includes regular standing, walking, talking, and hearing, frequent use of hands for handling tools and materials, occasional sitting, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling, frequent lifting and/or moving of 50+ pounds, and requires close vision, distance vision, color vision, and focus adjustment.

Responsibilities

• Verify incoming and outgoing shipments by comparing identifying information, counts, weights, and measurements against bills of lading, invoices, and orders
• Unpack and inspect incoming shipments; document shortages or damages and coordinate with shippers as needed
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with audits
• Deliver items to appropriate departments and locations
• Review outgoing products to ensure shipments meet company specifications
• Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies
• Perform warehouse functions across departments as needed
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
• Follow all quality, safety, legal, and food safety standards
• Conduct daily forklift inspections
• Support additional duties as assigned
