About The Position

The Stock Associate I will be responsible for fulfilling all replenishment and job picking requests to support daily production requirements. This will include physically pulling parts from location, handling said parts based on direction provided in job specific work instructions such as critical surfaces, ESD material, special packaging, and or other special handling requirements. This person will also be responsible for transacting all inventory and non-inventory items in Oracle in support of the replenishment and job picking function. Must be fluent with Microsoft Office applications such as Email, Excel, Word, and Teams and will be required to utilize a laptop and handheld devices to perform these job functions. This person will be expected to have a basic understanding of inventory control functions with some exposure to working within an ERP system.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalency
  • 1 year of relevant experience or Military experience
  • Experience with ERP and WMS operating systems
  • Must be a U.S. person within the meaning of ITAR (U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee).
  • Valid New York State driver's license

  • RF scanning & utilization of mobile handheld units
  • Excellent communication skills and experience working in a team environment.
  • Possesses attention to detail, problem solving ability, and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to operate material handling equipment such as a pallet jack and powered industrial trucks like a sitdown and standup forklift.
  • Basic computer skills, Microsoft applications including email, excel, word, and teams

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for ensuring that compliance with Environmental, Health, and Safety standards are met.
  • Be able to perform assignments independently and as part of a team.
  • Be able to understand and follow written work instructions specific to job functions and company policies.
  • Perform picking operations to support replenishment and job picking functions.
  • Be able to understand and or interpret location control within the stockroom and warehouse.
  • Execute regular inventory / non-inventory location audits and cycle counts.
  • Be able to understand and utilize technology tools such as digital workbench and Oracle applications to execute replenishment and job picking functions.
  • Be able to utilize a laptop computer and other handheld devices to execute all job functions dealing with replenishment and job picking.
  • Route all items to the applicable departments as per the direction provided on the job travelers and replenishment bins / cards.
  • Be responsible for performing stockroom and product handling tasks in all phases of the operation.
