Our company is looking for highly dependable team players to join our staff as (food) Material Handler / Stock Associate in our food processing plant. Material Handlers / Stock Associates are responsible for getting the necessary ingredients to the production lines in a timely manner, as well as then removing the produced product into the staging, sorting, or storage areas. They also monitor the cooler and freezers during the storage and preparation processes to make sure our product quality standards are being met. Requirements
- Read, write and speak English
- 18 years or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic mathematic skills
- Reliable transportation to fulfill scheduled shifts
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
Nice To Haves
- Previous stocking experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Organizes the flow of dry storage and food items
- Maintains integrity of cooler and freezer (FIFO)
- Anticipate the needs of the Production Department based on production schedule
- Relocates finished product into predetermined areas
- Removes debris and waste from production environment (empty boxes, etc.)
- Reliably and accurately supply the production staff with the necessary ingredients / food items
- Accurately records information such as lot numbers
- Follows direction of supervisor and manager, while working effectively on their own
