About The Position

Under the supervision of the Director, Retail Operations, the Stock Assistant is responsible for receiving, processing, and ticketing all retail merchandise and delivering them to the stores, shipping online orders, and supporting supply orders.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • One (1) year of retail experience required.
  • Demonstrated collaboration skills to work across departments and divisions internally and with diverse stakeholders externally.
  • Demonstrated skills to prioritize and complete multiple tasks to meet deadlines and goals.
  • Ability to share clear, effective, and professional information through talking or writing.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide strong customer service.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with attention to detail and produce accurate results.
  • Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to changes in priorities based on operational need.
  • Must be proficient in the latest version of Microsoft Office 365.
  • Must be able to establish and maintain professional, productive and courteous interactions that promote positive teamwork. This encompasses going beyond giving and receiving instructions and includes but is not limited to (a) performing work activities requiring interacting or speaking with others; and (b) responding appropriately to constructive feedback or suggestions for improvement from a supervisor.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and ticket all incoming merchandise in a timely manner, including physical movement of shipments and processing of appropriate paperwork.
  • Communicate by phone or email with customers for shipping and returns details.
  • Deliver merchandise to locations including interdepartmental deliveries and loading dock pick-ups.
  • Maintain appropriate stock levels of in-store shopping bags, boxes, packing, and shipping materials for the department.
  • Organize merchandise in the shipping and receiving area in an orderly fashion and maintain a neat and clean workspace.
  • Assist with stocking merchandise on the selling floor as needed.
  • Assist with stocking merchandise deliveries in stockrooms of shop(s).
  • Assist with reconciling annual physical inventory.
  • Apply DIA values to interactions to support a culture of belonging among internal and external stakeholders.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
