About The Position
Marietta Heights Post Acute is looking for a FULL-TIME NIGHT SHIFT STNA to join their team. This role involves providing compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with daily activities, mobility, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment. The position requires a commitment to promoting resident dignity and working collaboratively with the care team.
Requirements
- Current Ohio STNA certification
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Compassionate and respectful approach to resident care
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to safely assist residents with daily care and mobility
Nice To Haves
- Long-term care experience preferred, but not required
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to our residents
- Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and other daily activities
- Assist residents with transfers, repositioning, and mobility
- Answer call lights and respond promptly to resident needs
- Monitor residents and report changes in condition to the nurse
- Complete accurate documentation
- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment
- Promote resident dignity, independence, privacy, and respect
- Work closely with nurses and the rest of the care team
- Follow resident care plans and facility policies
