About The Position
Brookdale is hiring a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), called a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) in Ohio. The role provides seniors with personalized care in coordination with community management, including resident check-ins, dining and personal-care assistance, vital-sign checks, and clinical procedures performed according to community policy. The position requires successful completion of a State CNA/STNA course and maintenance of certification. Requirements
- Successfully complete a State CNA/STNA course.
- Maintain CNA/STNA certification.
Responsibilities
- Work with community management to provide seniors with personalized care.
- Give resident status updates at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Check in with residents and assist with dining and personal-care needs.
- Perform vital-sign checks and clinical procedures according to community policy.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including showers, bathroom assistance, and dressing and grooming.
