Kendal at Oberlin is a full-service life plan community which primarily serves older adults in the Quaker tradition. Residents are assured a lifetime of healthcare including short-and long-term nursing services, memory care and assisted living. Equally important, residents enjoy an independent, enriching living experience. Ohio Department of Health Nurse Aide Training and Competency Evaluation Program Barbara Thomas Education Center Training Room Classroom: May 4th-21st, 2026 - 5:15p-10:30p Mon-Thurs Clinicals: May 22nd & 23rd, 2026 - 7:00a-3:30p Fri & Sat These dates and hours (subject to change) based on student enrollment. Admission to this training program requires a background check via fingerprinting. If the results are satisfactory, an interview with the Kendal Director of Nursing will be scheduled for final determination for admission to the program. As an admitted student of Kendal at Oberlin’s Nurse Aide Training Program, you are responsible for purchasing your text book and black scrubs priced at approximately $65 in total. An entry fee of $104.00 payable to Kendal at Oberlin is required at the time of admission into the program. When you successfully complete the class, your $104 will be used to pay for your state examination. If you do not complete the class, your $104 deposit will not be refundable.
