About The Position

Stimulus Coffee + Bakery is an artisanal café and bakery located in Pacific City, Oregon, within the Inn at Cape Kiwanda. We offer refreshing, artisanal products with authentic service in a casual and inspiring atmosphere, providing dine-in and delivery services to hotel rooms. We cater to both locals and visitors, serving coffee and baked goods. Our culture emphasizes 'location, distinction, and soul,' encouraging individual distinction within a collective soul. We are a group of individuals passionate about hospitality, allowing our personalities to shine and having fun. The Stimulus Manager is responsible for managing daily operations, leading the front-of-house (FOH) team, managing labor and revenue, ordering supplies, completing daily reporting, and adhering to company standards and service levels to increase sales. The manager collaborates with the Pastry Chef to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

  • Obtain a Food Handlers Card Oregon state approved.
  • 1 year management experience- Preferred in a cafe/coffee shop environment.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment and work cohesively as part of a team.
  • Skills to work independently, effectively manage own time.
  • Availability to work all shifts including weekends and holidays.
  • Skills to read, understand and follow through on verbal and written instructions, ingredients and recipes.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve coffees, teas, and other specialty beverages per Stimulus Brand standards and within health guidelines.
  • Managing and leading the Stimulus front of house.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks such as food, beverage, and labor cost while maintaining the daily operations.
  • Good communication skills.
