About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Stick Welder to fabricate, assemble, and repair metal components while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. This role offers an opportunity to grow a welding career in a stable, professional work environment. AWS Welding Certification is preferred but not required; candidates who meet job requirements but are not currently certified may be eligible for company-supported certification assistance and training opportunities.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of stick welding experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift, carry, and perform physical work in an outdoor environment.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Nice To Haves

• AWS Welding Certification; certification is preferred but not required.
• 2 or more years of welding and fabrication experience.
• Experience with rigging or forklift operation.
• Eligible candidates who are not currently certified may receive company-supported certification assistance and training opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Measure and prepare materials for fabrication and welding.
• Set up and operate welding equipment and tools.
• Perform welding on metal components in various positions.
• Use grinders and other tools to prepare surfaces and finish welds.
• Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and compliance with specifications.
• Repair and modify equipment and metal structures as needed.
