About The Position

This job is based in the UK, and successful candidates will need to relocate to the UK. All relocation expenses are paid by the employer. This project is based in South East of England on the UK's largest energy project. There are strict requirements. In order to be eligible for shortlisting for a Trade Test, you must meet the requirements below.

Requirements

Must be a competent Stick and TIG welder.
Minimum 5 years experience.
A Completely Clean Police Record/ Garda Vetting Record. You will not pass the security clearance without it.
Apprenticeship Certificates.
Your CV must be up to date.
Work History - must be up to date and accurate.
References.
Proven experience as a Stick and TIG Welder in a similar industrial setting.
Valid welding certifications or equivalent qualifications.
Strong knowledge of welding techniques, equipment, and safety standards.
Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints.
Experience working with various metals, including stainless steel, aluminium, and carbon steel.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to work flexible hours and travel to different job sites as needed.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret technical drawings, weld symbols, and specifications.
Perform Stick and TIG welding on various metals, ensuring adherence to project specifications and standards.
Set up welding machines and equipment and maintain them in safe working order.
Conduct quality control checks and inspections on completed welds for conformity.
Collaborate effectively with project teams and other trades to ensure successful project completion.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, complying with safety regulations and procedures.
Assist in training and guiding less experienced welders when necessary.
Keep accurate records of work completed, materials used, and hours worked.
