Requirements

High School diploma or GED equivalent.
A minimum of 1 year experience in a supervisory capacity.
A minimum of 3 years experience as a steward.
The ability to organize/prioritize and complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
To make decisions in a stressful environment and accommodate a flexible work schedule.
Ability to accommodate a flexible work schedule to include nights, holidays and weekends.
The ability to speak and understand the English language; must continuously communicate with a degree of professionalism and accuracy.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
The ability to operate a dish machine and floor cleaners; work under extreme temperatures; 0-110 degrees.
To be able to lift up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

Effectively supervises Stewards on shift.
Ensures that all equipment is properly sanitized and stored correctly when not in use.
Continually demonstrates thorough knowledge of all aspects of safety to include machine use, MSDS, and chemical usage.
Ensures that all Stewards are trained to adhere to specific safety standards.
Continually assigns duties for the Stewards to ensure maximum productivity.
Maintains a thorough knowledge of all kitchen inventory and tracks supplies and food items to ensure appropriate quantity and quality of product.
Inventories and orders all materials needed to properly serve the guests in the daily operations of all food outlets and banquets in conjunction with the outlet Manager.
Maintains knowledge of F&B Operation’s internal functions, controls and software updates and takes the initiative to convey pertinent information to employees regarding policy changes.
Receives direction from Executive Steward in regards to special projects and completion of special work assignments.
