About The Position

Responsible for washing dishes, silverware, equipment, and cooking utensils. Performs general cleaning duties in accordance with Universal standards. Maintains kitchen areas and equipment in a clean, sanitary, and orderly condition.

Requirements

• Must be able to work a flexible and varying schedule based on business demands.
• Consistent attendance is a job requirement.
• Possession of SNHD Health card.
• Must be able to obtain LVMPD Work Card at time of employment.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• 6 months of steward/dish washing experience is preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Loads and empties dish machine, washes pots, pans, cooking utensils and equipment by hand and assists kitchen staff as needed.
• Removes waste, empties, and cleans garbage receptacles, removes recyclable materials and places in appropriate areas.
• Cleans the kitchen by sweeping, mopping, washing kitchen walls, floors, and floor mats.
• Performs closing duties in accordance with operational standards.
• Stocks all dishware and glassware as cleaned.
• Assists with banquet table and front of the house set up as requested.
• Follows MSDS standards, safety, and sanitation procedures.
• Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UDX policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
