Requirements

  • Previous experience in kitchen, cleaning, or hospitality-related work, preferred.
  • Must have multi-tasking skills, internal/external customer service skills.
  • Physical ability to perform duties, including lifting heavy items, standing for long periods, and operating cleaning equipment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time efficiently.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Wash and sanitize dishes, cookware, utensils, and glassware to maintain the highest hygiene standards.
  • Operate dishwashing machines and perform manual cleaning when needed to ensure efficiency and quality.
  • Organize and store cleaned items in their designated areas for easy access and smooth operations.
  • Keep kitchen floors, walls, counters, and equipment spotless, creating a safe and sanitary work environment.
  • Support culinary, banquet, and outlet teams by organizing equipment and supplies for seamless service.
  • Deliver clean plates, utensils, and other essentials to kitchen or service areas promptly.
  • Collect and dispose of trash, recycling, and food waste according to hotel standards, maintaining cleanliness in all disposal areas.
  • Sanitize trash bins and maintain cleanliness in waste management zones.
  • Monitor cleaning supply inventory and restock as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
  • Report broken or malfunctioning equipment promptly to the Executive Steward or Stewarding Supervisor.
  • Use cleaning chemicals safely and follow all established safety procedures.
  • Adhere to health and sanitation guidelines, including proper food handling practices.
  • Follow all hotel policies and procedures to ensure a safe, organized, and compliant work environment.
  • Participate in regular safety training and team meetings to stay informed and prepared.
  • Regular attendance in conformance with standards.
  • May be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needs.
  • Required to attend all mandatory training sessions and meetings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
