The Steward properly cleans, stores, and maintains all washable items within a sanitary and safe working environment. This role is responsible for operating dishwashing equipment to ensure adequate supplies of clean and sanitary tableware, maintaining personal hygiene and sanitation standards, and following proper food storage, handling, and preparation standards. The Steward also adheres to established Ecosure standards, maintains a clean and safe work environment through regular floor maintenance, trash removal, proper storage of equipment, and cleaning of the dish area before the end of each shift. Additionally, they handle and use cleaning chemicals safely and complete all training requirements.
