Requirements

• A day in the life....The Steward maintains cleanliness by washing tableware and kitchen items, performing cleaning tasks as assigned, and storing items properly to maintain an organized environment. Report to Chef.

Responsibilities

• Clean all dishes, glasses, utensils, pots, pans, and equipment according to sanitation and food safety guidelines.
• Operate the dishwasher and inspect all items for cleanliness.
• Store clean dishes and equipment in the appropriate areas.
• Maintain dishwashing and cleaning equipment.
• Ensure a clean and safe environment around the dishwashing area.
• Load and unload food and supplies.
• Clean the garbage area; sort and remove trash.
• Assist with food preparation and the setup of trays or banquet accessories as required.
• Sweep and mop floors
