About The Position

Join the team at Wright's Gourmet House, a Tampa landmark serving guests since 1963. Known for our iconic sandwiches, scratch-made desserts, and genuine hospitality, we are looking for team members who are passionate about quality, teamwork, and creating memorable guest experiences in a fast-paced and welcoming environment. We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Utility Worker to support daily operations. Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness and organization, assisting with basic cleaning and maintenance tasks, taking out trash, washing dishes, stocking supplies, and assisting other departments as needed.

Requirements

• Knowledge of basic cleaning techniques and safety practices.
• Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Consent to both pre-employment and post-hire reasonable suspicion drug testing.
• Consent to a pre-employment background check (criminal and driving).
• Tobacco-free, smoke-free, e-cigarette-free facility and grounds.

Nice To Haves

• Previous hospitality or restaurant experience is a plus
• Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean and organized work areas
• Wash dishes and assist with kitchen cleanup
