Requirements

Ability and willingness to stand for 8 hours at a time.
Ability and willingness to push, pull, lift up to 50lbs.
Ability and willingness to stretch and reach.
Ability to effectively lead a team.
Must be able to work flexible schedule, including holidays and weekends.
Food Safety certification required.

Responsibilities

Supervise the day-to-day operation of the department for a given shift.
Control and distribute operating equipment.
Maintain cleaning and sanitation standards.
Supervise all utility, pot washer, dishwasher, and worker assignment tasks.
Determine work procedures, prepare work schedules, and expedite workflow.
Assign duties and examine work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.
Study and standardize procedures to improve efficiency of subordinates.
Resolve associate issues.
Perform set up procedures based on banquet menus.
Oversee all personnel under his/her supervision.
Ensure proper cleaning, racking, and distribution of all china, silver, and glassware.
Maintain required standards of sanitation and cleanliness.
Review and reinforce operating procedures with his/her shift.
Minimize breakage of circulating equipment.
