About The Position
The position of Steward - Heavy Cleaner involves the deep cleaning of kitchen surfaces and equipment, including walls, floors, ceilings, pots, pans, fryers, ovens, kettles, refrigerators, and ventilation hoods. This role requires the use of caustic chemicals and cleaning equipment such as pressure washers, along with vigorous scrubbing, sweeping, mopping, and scraping. Additionally, the Steward is responsible for removing all trash and recyclable materials from designated areas. The role also emphasizes promoting superior guest service and performing other assigned duties. Requirements
- Must be able to understand and complete multiple tasks assigned with minimum supervision.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours.
Responsibilities
- Performs deep cleaning of kitchen surfaces and equipment.
- Cleaning procedures utilize caustic chemicals and the use of cleaning equipment such as a pressure washer.
- Cleaning requires vigorous scrubbing, sweeping, mopping and scraping.
- Removes all trash and recyclable materials from designated areas to appropriate containers.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
