About The Position

This role is responsible for maintaining the sanitation and cleanliness of kitchen and food preparation areas. The position involves routine manual labor, including ware washing, mopping, sweeping, and cleaning various surfaces and equipment. The Steward will also be responsible for moving heavy supplies and equipment, completing company-required training, and ensuring a safe working environment. Employees may also be assigned to other Food & Beverage positions requiring the same license.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent
• Ability to receive and maintain all required certification
• Ability to complete all required company training
• Knowledge in the safe use of cleaning products

• Ability to authorize and issue complimentary services to patrons in accordance with the approved Complimentary Matrix which is part of internal control section 465a.7

Responsibilities

• Moving heavy supplies and equipment as directed
• Maintaining the overall sanitation and cleanliness of Kitchens, culinary areas, and food set up and prep areas
• Performing routine manual labor, including ware washing, mopping, sweeping, wet mopping, vacuuming, cleaning walls, foodservice equipment, and simple operation of basic equipment
• Completing all company-required training within designated time frames
• Ensuring a safe working environment for self and others
• Performing cleaning tasks as assigned
• Any other assigned duties and responsibilities
• Potentially working in other Food & Beverage positions requiring the same type of license
