Perform dishwashing and kitchen cleaning functions. This role involves washing dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans, as well as operating dishwashing and other kitchen cleaning equipment. The position also includes maintaining kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in a clean and orderly condition, stocking supplies, and sweeping and washing floors. Additionally, the Steward will sort and remove trash, perform food preparation functions during staffing shortages or peak periods, and practice safe work habits in accordance with MSDS and OSHA standards. A key aspect of the role is to be aware of guest satisfaction scores and contribute to increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction.
