As a Sterilization Technician, you'll play a vital role in supporting patient care by ensuring instruments, equipment, and treatment areas are properly cleaned, sterilized, and prepared for use. Nice To Haves
- Previous dental, medical, or sterilization experience preferred
- Knowledge of infection control and sterilization procedures preferred
Responsibilities
- Clean, disinfect, package, and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Operate and monitor sterilization equipment according to established protocols
- Maintain sterilization logs and documentation
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, CDC, and infection control guidelines
- Organize and stock treatment rooms with necessary supplies
- Assist with inventory management and ordering of clinical supplies
- Prepare instrument trays for scheduled procedures
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient clinical environment
- Support dental assistants and providers as needed
