About The Position

Elizabethtown Dentistry for Children is hiring for both Dental Assistant and Sterilization Tech positions. They are looking for a motivated and compassionate individual eager to make a difference in children’s lives. This role involves providing a comforting experience for patients, preparing and sterilizing instruments, collaborating with the dentist, and maintaining patient records.

Requirements

• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
• Knowledgeable in health and safety regulations
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Attention to detail, well-organized, and reliable
• High school diploma
• Dental Assisting Certification
• Dental X-Ray Certification

Nice To Haves

• Graduating from dental assistant school is preferred
• Coronal Polishing (preferred, not required)
• EDDA (preferred, not required)

Responsibilities

• Provide a comforting experience for patients during treatments and checkups
• Select and set up instruments, equipment, and materials needed
• Sterilize instruments and equipment
• Collaborate closely with the dentist chairside to support procedures with precision and efficiency
• Undertake tasks as instructed
• Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked
• Schedule appointments
• Maintain accurate patient records
