About The Position
Smile Doctors is seeking a Sterilization and Lab Technician to join their growing team. This role involves preparing 3D printed models, making retainers, processing x-rays, uploading photos, working with doctors on aligner cases, and processing sterilization. Nice To Haves
- Some dental/orthodontic industry experience is helpful, but not required
Responsibilities
- Clean, sterilize, and prepare the equipment and working areas in strict accordance with sterilization/disinfection protocols
- 3D print scans for retainers and models
- Use 3D models to make in house retainers
- Keep chairs clean, stocked, and organized
- Provides patient care instructions
- Perform laboratory procedures under the general supervision of the Orthodontist
- Upload records to patient software
- Assist in Local Store Marketing and community events
- Cross-trains in other support positions as necessary
