About The Position
Certified Sterile Processing Technician in a hospital setting; responsible for the decontamination, assembly, sterilization, and scope reprocessing in the Operating Room, including GI department.
Requirements
- Certification as a Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience with basic ortho, general, gyn, and GI cases.
Responsibilities
- Decontamination of surgical instruments and devices.
- Assembly and packaging of surgical instruments and supplies.
- Sterilization of surgical instruments and equipment.
- Reprocessing of scopes and acquiring da Vinci robot.
