About The Position

Assists the surgical team in the preparation of surgical procedures in the operating room. Prepares surgical cases by creating and maintaining a sterile field, retracting and passing instruments, supplies and medications to surgeons during cases. Performs a variety of technical skills, including the maintenance of supplies. This department includes all functions related to operating room services, including intraoperative patient care. It also may include perfusion services, inpatient and/or outpatient services, and other operating room support functions.

Requirements

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification.
• Experience in operating room services.
• Proficiency in maintaining a sterile field.
• Skill in retracting and passing instruments, supplies, and medications.
• Ability to perform various technical skills related to surgical support.
• Knowledge of intraoperative patient care.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with perfusion services.
• Experience with inpatient and/or outpatient services.
