This is a full-time position for a Sterile Processing Technician working 40 hours per week, typically 5x8-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Weekend and holiday shifts are required as needed, and on-call duties are part of the role. The technician is responsible for the entire lifecycle of surgical instrumentation and equipment, from disassembly and cleaning to sterilization and assembly. This includes processing flexible endoscopes, inspecting instruments, assembling kits, and managing sterilization equipment and monitoring processes. The role also involves maintaining adequate supply levels, stocking code carts, and potentially assisting with training new staff. Flexibility to rotate between different departments (main SPD, GI, OSC) may be required.
