Sterile Processing Technician, Full Time
About The Position
Provides assistance to Operating Room staff by preparing and caring for surgical instruments and supplies in accordance with established policies and procedures. Responsibilities include preparing, assembling, and organizing the environment, equipment, and supplies necessary to perform surgical interventions. Performs other duties as assigned. The position is full-time, scheduled Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.; hours may change according to department needs. Employment offers are contingent on providing documentation of employment eligibility, passing a drug test, and passing a physical test.
Requirements
- At least one year of Sterile Processing experience.
- Provide documentation demonstrating employment eligibility as required by the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986.
- Pass a drug test and a physical test as a condition of an employment offer.
Nice To Haves
- Hospital experience preferred.
- BLS certification preferred.
