Requirements

High School education or equivalent experience.
Ability to cover when needed at Optum's Newburgh, Monroe, Rock Hill, and West Nyack locations.

Nice To Haves

Central Service Technician certification.
Experience in a healthcare setting.
Proven knowledge of Infection Control and OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

Assists in maintaining instruments and equipment used for surgical and medical procedures.
Responsible for the cleaning, disinfecting, sterilization, organization, and distribution of instruments, scopes, and equipment to various departments.
Adheres to Practice policies, and Infection Control and OSHA standards.
Collaborates with nursing staff to ensure the provision of safe and efficient patient care.
May be cross-trained to function in other capacities to ensure optimal operation of the departments.
