Sterile Processing Technician - Concert
About The Position
At LifeNet Health, the Sterile Processing Technician supports the organization’s mission of Saving Lives, Restoring Health, and Giving Hope. The role inspects, prepares, and packages instrumentation and equipment for sterilization; performs decontamination to meet quality standards; and stocks and documents case carts so required items are available for processing and other departmental needs. The technician operates steam and ethylene oxide sterilizers, selects appropriate sterilization methods, completes required documentation in accordance with standard operating procedures, and participates in departmental continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities
- Inspect, prepare, and package instrumentation and equipment for sterilization.
- Perform decontamination in accordance with quality standards.
- Stock and document case carts to ensure required items are available for processing or other departmental needs.
- Operate steam and ethylene oxide sterilizers.
- Select the appropriate sterilization method and complete required documentation in accordance with SOPs.
- Participate in departmental continuous improvement initiatives.
