About The Position

Berks Urologic Surgery Center (BUSC) is looking for an experienced, certified Sterile Processing Technician to join their team. This is a critical behind-the-scenes role for someone who takes pride in doing things the right way, has exceptional attention to detail, and understands the important role Sterile Processing plays in delivering safe, high-quality surgical care. The Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for the decontamination, cleaning, inspection, processing, assembly, and sterilization of instruments, supplies, and equipment used in surgical procedures. Working closely with the clinical team, the technician will ensure that instruments are safe, functional, properly prepared, and available when needed. BUSC maintains high standards for infection prevention, instrument processing, and patient safety.

Requirements

• Experienced, certified Sterile Processing Technician
• Current Sterile Processing certification is required and must be maintained throughout employment.
